Lab classes

The lab classes in physical chemistry aim to deepen and complement the theoretical knowledge acquired in the lectures and exercises with selected experiments. A number of experiments in kinetics, thermodynamics, electrochemistry and quantum mechanics are performed in teams. The aim is to understand basic and advanced concepts of physical chemistry, to acquire practical skills for quantitative research, and to learn how to document, analyze and interpret the acquired data. Joint colloquia before the experiments test and deepen the required knowledge about the topics and promote scientific reasoning and discussion. Written reports for each experiment aim to teach and improve data visualization and scientific writing.
